Designed to Be Built, Not Just Look Good on Paper
When comparing plan sets, it's important to understand that not every plan package includes the same information. A floor plan can show you where the rooms go, but your builder needs much more information to actually construct the home.
AZ plan sets are designed by post-frame barndominium builders, for post-frame construction. They are developed around an 8' post spacing, wood-frame construction and a metal exterior from the beginning—not designed as a conventional home and converted later.
Each plan can be built using posts in the ground or brackets on a frost footing. Choosing a frost footing also gives you the ability to incorporate subgrade insulation if desired.

We want you to know what you're buying before you buy it.
A lower-priced plan set isn't necessarily a better value if your builder later needs additional drawings, structural information, material details or modifications before construction can begin.
Our goal is to eliminate as many of those unknowns as possible upfront. You should know what is included, how the building was designed to be constructed, and what you're paying for before you ever purchase the plans.
